‘Paralysis’ marks the arrival of a truly enthralling new rock band.

Paralysis was formed in November 2007, and are Laura Yell, Louis Limon, Conrad Ankers, Matt Rhodes and Alex Pass. The band delivers a new sound, image, and a new way to reach the people of today with their music.

Powered by buoyant melodies and powerful hooks, the British-based outfit’s debut is made indelible by the ‘irresistible force’ of singers Laura and Louis, the ‘intricate keyboard’, the ‘powerful bass’, along with the ‘thumping rhythms’ of Conrad, and the ‘driving guitars’ of Matt and Alex. The bands’s earnest emotion and Laura’s strikingly confident range and phrasing set Paralysis apart from the pack, with the joyous noise of songs such as “Face the Truth” and “Tricks of the Mind” evincing a passionate positivism that can’t help but move every listener in its path.

‘We don’t really know how it all came together! It just did, to be honest! We want to reach the people of today with our music. The band is passionate about their music, but at the same time is full of fun.’

Paralysis have been busy writing music, recording their demos and are soon to be recording their debut album and EP, and are currently gigging all over the north-west!
